The first thing that you need to decide when choosing a barbell;
What is its purpose?
There are several factors that need to be considered. We have barbells that suit various needs, and here is a quick runthrough of what you should be looking for. Olympic lifters and Crossfitters will need a bar with good whip, comfortable knurling, and a needle bearing system in the sleeves. This helps the sleeves spin smoothly, and also absorbs the impact during drops, which in turn increases the life of your bar. We have bars available in our MA1 Elite Competition Series Barbell which come in either a chrome or black shaft. |
